Important Notice: Smoking Not Allowed on the Golf Course Due to Dry Weather and Official Regulations

Dear Members,

 

We hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the summer on our beautiful golf course.

 

Due to the current weather conditions with prolonged drought and high temperatures, we must reach out to you today with an urgent announcement.

 

Effective immediately, a total smoking ban is in place across the entire golf course.

 

The ongoing dry conditions have significantly increased the risk of fire. For this reason, the Miltenberg District Office has issued a general smoking ban in all forested areas, which we are, of course, also obliged to follow. As large parts of our golf course are adjacent to or located within wooded areas with grass and turf surfaces, this regulation applies to us as well. The smoking ban applies to all areas of the golf course, including the driving range, the short course, and all fairways. Our greenkeeping staff and the entire team will be paying close attention to ensure this ban is strictly observed. Violations may result in exclusion from play and further consequences.

 

The only exceptions are the clubhouse terrace and the main entrance area of the clubhouse.

 

Please inform your guests and fellow members about the smoking ban. Only together can we ensure the protection of our course, wildlife, and the surrounding nature.
