An eventful and exciting weekend is behind us

Our 2026 Youth Club Championship took place over two days at Golfpark Rosenhof.

From our youngest participants to our oldest juniors, everyone competed with great enthusiasm, determination, and dedication.

 

This year marked a special first for the 18-hole group: For the first time, boys and girls competed separately in the gross competition, allowing us to crown our very first Girls’ Club Champion.

 

The girls’ competition turned into a thrilling, closely fought battle. After the second round, Philippa Hoch managed to secure the title ahead of Luthien Bagnoli and Mia-Emilia Wimmer.

 

In the First Drive competition, our youngest participant, Finley Menzel, delivered a wonderful surprise. With a three-stroke lead over Noah Bitter, he claimed victory!

 

The 9-hole competition was equally exciting. After the first day, Joshua Rüth and Leon Akgünyener were tied for the lead, just ahead of Alex Scheerbaum. In the second round, Leon stepped up his game and secured his first victory, finishing ahead of Max Scheerbaum and Joshua Rüth.

Max also had another reason to celebrate, taking home the title of 1st Net Winner.

 

In the 18-hole competition, defending champion Henri Fittkau entered the tournament aiming to retain his title. Once again, he delivered an outstanding performance over both rounds, confidently securing victory over his challenger Tom Benesch. This marked his third consecutive Club Championship title!

 

After two excellent rounds, Theo Jokoszies claimed the title of 18-Hole Net Champion.

You all showed fantastic golfing skills this weekend, played with great enthusiasm, and fought for every stroke right until the very end. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves!

 

A very special THANK YOU goes to Silke and Bernd Amberg from FLIGHT in Hörstein for their generous donations and wonderful support of our junior golfers.

 

And, of course, we would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and helpers. Whether working behind the scenes, assisting with the organization, or helping out on-site – this Club Championship would not have been possible without your dedication and support.
