Youth Golf Tournament at Golfpark Rosenhof – A Big Success

On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, Golfpark Rosenhof hosted the Challenge Tour tournament as part of the Youth Series by the Hessian Golf Association (HGV). The kids competed in three categories: Challenge Tour 18 (CT18 – HCP under 36), Challenge Tour 9 (CT9 – HCP 36 to 54), and First Drive (FD). We were thrilled to welcome 112 young golfers to our home course – an amazing turnout and a great sign for junior golf at Rosenhof!
CT18 – Great Team Effort from Our Advanced Players
Representing Rosenhof in the CT18 were Henri Fittkau, Tom Benesch, Alexander Mäder, Paul Vince, Leon Malliet, Elias Groth, Lukas Appelt, and Severin Wehrmann. Out of 56 players, our golfers finished in 4th, 5th, 6th, 12th, 16th, 32nd, 34th, and 38th place – an awesome team performance that earned us 2nd place overall among six golf clubs!
CT9 – The Next Generation Shines Too
In the CT9 division, Adele Wehrmann, Simon Grünewald, Philippa Hoch, Emilia Hoch, and Luthien Bagnoli teed it up for Rosenhof. With finishes in 3rd, 4th, 14th, and 27th place out of 30 players, this young team also brought home a fantastic 2nd place in the team standings. Huge congrats to our up-and-coming stars!
First Drive – Big Talent from Our Youngest Players
Our First Drive team included Max Scheerbaum, Joshua Rüth, Noah Bitter, and Julia Zenker. Noah grabbed a strong 4th place in the U8 category, and Julia came 7th in U9. Max and Joshua had an exciting showdown in the U10 category – after a playoff on the toughest holes, Max came out just ahead and took 3rd place, with Joshua right behind in 4th. The FD team ended up with a very respectable 3rd place overall.

Huge Thanks to All Our Helpers
Special thanks to all the parents from the booster club who made sure everyone was well-fed. With fresh fruit, coffee, cake, sandwiches, pretzels, and sweets, there was something for everyone. Everything ran smoothly, too – big shout-out to Antje and Norman in the front office for organizing the event so perfectly, and to our grounds crew for keeping the course in amazing shape. The Rosenhof really showed off its best side!
